Goodbye 270’s!!!

I try and aim for 2lbs a week and last week I lost 4! That 4lb loss brought me down to 269 and I am so excited to say goodbye to the 270’s. I promise myself I will never see that weight again! Just had to share. Thanks for all the support!

1/4/08

Today is going well.  I did not want to work out this morning, but I just kept telling myself “it’s only day 4! you have to do this” .  Of course, once I was doing it I was feeling great and so glad I did it.  Eating has been going great,  i’ve even managed to get in a lot of whole grains.  That was always so difficult for me before.

It’s Friday which is so exciting and were leaving early from work yay!  Work is soo slow right now, (I work on a TV show, so im really effected by the writer’s strike) so we’ve been leaving early most days.  I have a baby shower and a bridal shower to attend tomorrow!  I’m a little nervous about the temptations but I’ve been suprisingly strong lately and that comforts me.

Here I go again…

So here it is 2008, and I am so ready for a new year.  Not that 2007 was bad, it wasn’t at all, I am just so ready for a fresh start.  I’m about to publicly say something only my docotors know,  I weigh….275 lbs., crazy huh?? No one would believe me if I told them, they never do.  My goal weight is 150, thats what the healthy weight is for my height (5′8”) and I’m hoping to reach it by 2009.  I know it a big goal and i’ll have to work hard, but it’s incredibly important to me to be healthy.It’s day 3 of the new year and I can proudly say I have worked out all 3 days!! and I have eaten extremely heathly.  I’m going to do this, this time!  Today was a very exciting workout fot me.  Let me first explain that I am not a runner! I am a walker and thats it, I can walk fast but I dont run (or jog)!  The thing is though that i’ve always wanted to be a runner, weird I know.  So today I started jogging on my treadmill.  The only other time i’ve ever tried running was about 4 months ago and I only made it 3/4 of the way around the track before my lungs felt like they were collapsing.  So today on my treadmill I ran the equivalent of 2 times around the track with out stopping or slowing down. I kept a good steady pace and in the end, it felt amazing!!!  I was soo proud.  Well untill next time…
